What is Angelwatt?

Why is Internet Explorer not well supported?

The short answer is that Microsoft has yet to implement web technologies correctly with their Internet Explorer (IE) browser. This causes web developers such as myself to create hacks and work arounds to make the pages appear correctly. I've grown tired of providing extra code just for IE, when all other browsers display it correctly. Even IE 7, which has been released cannot display my page correctly because of its short-comings. I could probably make work arounds so that it displays properly, but I have taken a stand and will not accomodate a company that is unwilling to create a browser that follows international standards. As an alternative to IE you can use Firefox or Opera as two great browsers. My site has been tested with Firefox, Mozilla, Safari, Opera, Netscape, and Camino and the site looks great on them all.
